The Castronovo GroupProject » Video Production, Flash Video Integration, PHP scripting for contact forms, & transfer of site to a CMS Details » Mike needed a video intro for his site as well as a video introducing his “rates” page and a number of forms for site visitors to use to sign up for various offerings. I shot and edited the video, composited using After Effects, and migrated it to the web using Adobe’s Flash Platform. I completed all of the actionscript and site forms. Finally, Mike wanted a content management system to organize his educational content so I migrated his old site into Expression Engine. Launch Project » Castronovo Group Features »
Millennial RainProject » Wedding Videography Site Details » Millennial Rain was started by my wife and I. At it’s inception, the corporation focused on event videography (which included weddings, graduations, school productions, etc). We soon realized this was not what we wanted to spend our time on. I intended to add a video based FAQ section, as well as integration with a back end database to facilitate more efficient communication with clients and potential clients. However, the site is now archived as I’m focusing my time on web and software development. I came up with the site concept and completed the design and scripting using Adobe’s Flash Platform. What’s Next CollectiveProject » Animate Site Index Page Details » Brian Abbott of Element Media contracted me to take a design he had for a site and animate some text, create a Flash navigation element, and embed a custom music player. Six months after project completion the What’s Next Collective closed up shop. What is archived here on jakelyman.com is a non-functioning site that showcases the work I did animating some text onto the index page as well as the tabbed navigation. None of the buttons work! You’ll get 404s should you choose to click them. Launch Project » What’s Next Collective Features »

Transformation MinistriesProject » Flash Web Site & Video Based Content Management Training Details » Transformation Ministries purchased a Flash template but did not know what to do with it. They hired me to customize it for them. The original template had a dead tree in it so TM asked me to try to make it “come to life.” They had a limited budget which meant I could not spend much time on it. This project still holds a lot of potential as moving clouds and life-like leaves could be added. At some point, TM would also like to add video based training and equipping for those who attend their ministry which means integration with a database will be essential. Michael SuttonProject » Fashion Photographer Site Details » Designer Nick Waraksa contracted me to take his design for Michael Sutton’s new web site and put it into an interactive Flash format. No motion or shape tweening was used as all animation is actionscript driven. Launch Project » Michael Sutton Features »

Tim & Andrea UllumProject » Missionary Site Details » Tim and Andrea Ullum are good friends who are missionaries in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. I started designing this site to help facilitate communications with their supporters, families, and friends. The site was never finished. I ended up setting up a Wordpress site for them so they could manage the content on their own. A link to their current site can be found in the links to the right. I keep this old Flash site here to remind me that this might be a site worth finishing, though it would need to be redesigned due to the fact that this was one of my first attempts at Flash and I did not know what best practices were when working in a Flash environment.
